Krishnagar High School is one of the best schools not only in Krishnagar but also in the district of Nadia. Sprawling over a small area at the heart of the town, the three storied buildings, both the old building and the new building, house 25 classrooms, 05 laboratories and a well equipped computer laboratory with about 25 computers and also a modern library with a reading room. Two old neem trees and an anonymous tree give shelter to the hundreds of pupils at the prayer time during the hot summer days. The small playground with an open air stage just opposite to the school is also an added attraction of the school. Every year the pass-outs both in the Madhyamik and in the Higher Secondary Examination make headlines.
